The incident took place at Oak Park Mall in Overland Park, Kansas when the underage teen was wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat and one of the employees told the teen to take off the hat. The teen refused to take off the hat, which then led the employee to tell him “F*ck you.”

The mother then demanded to speak to the manager when another gentlemen behind the counter told the her, “I’m sorry guys, just go about your business,” but the mother was not having it. “Absolutely not. I want corporate office, I want everything right now,” the mother demanded all the information required to report the disrespectful employee to corporate regarding the incident.

The employee who cussed out the teenage boy has been fired soon after the mother of the teen complained to corporate. “Our focus is to provide the best customer service experience. We did let this employee go. He is no longer with our company. Mugshot of James Philips after pulling a gun at a man for wearing a 'MAGA' hat on February 16, 2019.

On Saturday February the 16th, a couple was shopping at a Sam’s Club store in Bowling Green, Kentucky, when they crossed paths with a man who would give them an unforgettable experience. The couple who have been identified as Pierce and his wife Cherrie were wearing “Make America Great Again” hats when 57-year-old James Philips flipped them off while they were checking out. Cherrie then asked Philips if he was flipping them and with vulgar language Philips said he did do so. Pierce then confronted Philips and argued back and forth. “So I double flipped him off and said ‘it goes both ways buddy,’” Pierce told The Gateway Pundit.

“I have as much right to wear that hat and support my country and my President as he has not to,” said Pierce in a interview with abc 13 news.

After he flipped him back, Pierce claims that Philips then pulled out his .40 caliber Glock pistol and pointed it at Pierce’s head as he said “It’s a good day for you to die.” “I told him to pull the trigger or put the gun down and fight me like a man — and he repeated ‘it’s a good day for you to die’. I repeated ‘pull the trigger or put the gun down and fight me like a man’. We had a very intense verbal interaction with each other and he started backing away,” Pierce said as he told his side of the story. Soon enough Philips walked out of the store and Pierce followed him to his car to continue the argument. Philips did not leave as he waited for his elderly mother who was still inside the store.

When police arrived after responding to the 911 calls from witnesses, Pierce and James were still in the parking lot arguing. James then told police that he had been assaulted by Pierce, but his story was disproved by witnesses and the security camera footage from Sam’s Club.

“I have every right to support my country and my President and I proudly wear this hat as a symbol of trying to help Make America Great Again! I’m not ashamed or afraid to wear this hat. I’m not a racist, xenophobe, sexist, or anything the left accuses our President of, which he isn’t,”

Both parties were uninjured during their dispute, but Philips who had a permit to conceal and carry from the state of Tennessee where he was originally from, was taken into custody to Warren County Regional Jail and charged with first-degree wanton endangerment after the incident.

UPDATE: Native-American Nathan Philips Added To List Of Those Being Sued By Nick Sandmann For Defamation

Attorney Lin Wood is personally represents Nick Sandmann during this legal journey against multiple individuals who refuse to retract their actions to violence and false narratives towards the Covington High School boys. On the 8th of February, Attorney Wood told Life Site News about the decision to add Native American activist Nathan Philips to the list of those who will be sued for slander, which include more than 50 media, dioceses, and celebrities who received notice of possible litigation.

False Vietnam Veteran Nathan Philips told multiple media outlets how he was harassed and taunted by the Covington Catholic High School boys even after his allegations were debunked. Multiple videos from different angles and devices showed Philips harassing the teens and repeatedly beating his drum inches away from Sandmann’s face. Philips said he was trying to make his way to the Lincoln Monument, but videos show him avoiding the monument to make his way towards the Covington boys who were waiting for their bus to arrive to get back home in Kentucky. Philips never retracted his false story even after the truth of the matter proved his story to be a farce; and that’s what placed Philips on the list to be sued.

Nick Sandmann and his school mates arrive home in Kentucky after the March For Life where an avalanche of death threats awaited them. The Covington Catholic High School did not allow Sandmann to attend school for 6 days due to the on going violent threats towards the school, the students, their families, and Sandmann. “Nick was prohibited by the school from attending classes for 6 school days in the two weeks following the incident,” Attorney Wood told Life Site News. Sandmann was admitted back to school on February 1st after Attorney Wood told the school we “would not tolerate Nick being isolated and singled out based on specious claims that he first needed to give a statement to the school without his counsel in attendance and that there were ongoing security concerns (all other students had already been allowed to return to classes),” Wood told Life Site News.

During the Pro-life March For Life in Washington D.C. on January 18th, 2019, Nick Sandmann and his school mates were harassed and taunted by a group of Native Americans and a well known hate group by the name of the “Black Hebrew Israelites.” The entire incident of the Covington High School teens in “Make America Great Again” hats harassed by both groups was recorded, then edited into a short clip where it appears as if the teens were the ones doing the harassment towards the Native American Nathan Philips while he beat his drum. The clip soon became viral causing the left wing media and leftist pundits to viciously attack the Covington students based on the false narrative coming from a troll account on Twitter which no longer exists.

The full video of the Covington High School students finally made its way to the public eye after it was taken down by Facebook on multiple occasions and buried by the algorithms from other social media platforms. However, the fact that the truth of the incident surface the web, it did not stop from blue-check mark people on Twitter and the mainstream media from expanding the false narrative against the underage teens who continuously receive death threats against them and their families, threats against their school, threats against their attorneys, and doxxed in the process of violent requests against them. Attorney Robert Barnes offered his services pro bono to sue anyone threatening and defaming the Covington Catholic High School students once the video of the teens’ innocence was spread around, while Twitter refuse to intervene when multiple people reported the accounts that continue the harassment and death threats directed towards the boys.

The 14 minute video above was put together by Attorney Lin Wood as his evidence that the entire original narrative was fraudulent. It was irresponsible for the media to jump to a story without the proper research and putting the lives of many innocent people, especially underage teens, at risk simply for wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat.
